I found these while cleaning out my shop. I know what the .310 ammo is for, but I've never seen 270 or 3006 like this before. Anyone know what it is?

The 310 his a 310 Cadet cartridge
The others are bullets (projectiles) made from 30’06 and 270 brass cases.

Thanks. I had a 310 Cadet rifle and some ammo - I gave the rifle away years ago, I guess I didn't give away all the ammo.

Can you explain some more about the "projectiles"?

Sure thing.
In times of scarcity, or to fulfill a tinkerer’s passion, jacketed bullets (meaning the actual projectile) could be made from used brass cases.
I do it myself for some rifles I have and, as I said, to satisfy my own curiosity.
Here’s a thread which shows some of the bullets I’ve made this way.

What diameter are the ones you have?

Thanks, I will measure them.

Here's a photo of Tony receiving that Shaw & Hunter award at the 1970 annual EAPHA Dinner Dance. Tony Dyer, then EAPHA President and Princess (Sunny) von Auersperg presented it. I also attended the event.

Good Afternoon,
How firm are you on your Dakota 416? I am highly interested but looking at a few different guns currently.

Best,
BJ
