Nice rifle..... just how "lightly used"?

I bought it “new old stock” earlier this year, and if it wasn’t unused it appeared to have been fired very little. The pictured crack in the spacer was there upon purchase. The brass marks are from me practicing reloads. I’ve shot exactly 20 rounds of Hornady factory loaded solids through it.

I’ll also add in 80 pieces of new Hornady brass and a new 2-die set from Hornady as well to the purchase price.

Price drop $1200 with brass and dies shipped in the lower 48.

add 50 Hornady DGX, 50 Woodleigh RN 400 gr bullets to $1200 price.

Good price. The guy who sold it to you as NOS was a scoundrel though.

Thanks. I agree, and made the assumption when I bought it that it had probably been used. The crack in the spacer wasn't a big deal to me as I intended on having a new recoil pad installed if I kept it, which I think this rifle would benefit from. But I'm lucky enough to have drawn moose, elk, and deer tags for this fall, so this is headed down the road to fund a busy October.

Do you still have this rifle for sale?

Hi Lance, Hope you well. I collect Mauser rifles and they are very much part of my cultural history in Africa. Would you consider selling the rifle now a year on ? I'd like to place it in my collection of Mauser rifles. Many thx

I saw where you hunted elephant with backcountry safaris in Zimbabwe.
Was looking to book an elephant hunt and wanted to know how your hunt went
and if you would recommend them.

Thanks
Mike
hi, do you know about lions hunters, leopard hunters, and crocodiles hunters of years 1930s-1950s
I'm new to Africa Hunting. I would like to purchase a Heym 450-400 double rifle. I'm left-handed but would prefer a non-canted gun. Is anyone in the community considering parting with theirs?
