KHALANYONI “Cry of the bird”​

Khalanyoni Game Ranch is perfectly situated in the greater Thabazimbi area, close to Northam.
This is a pristine piece of nature in the heartland of the bushveld, populated with rich flora, an abundance of birdlife and 21 game species including Buffalo, Giraffe, and Tsessebe. Our grounds cover more than a thousand hectare, offering ample space for wildlife to roam and guests to enjoy the beauty of the outdoors.
We offer guests the opportunity to experience the tranquility and peacefulness the bushveld has to offer with accommodation in well-equipped chalets and our hunting camp.
Our comfortable accommodation offers a relaxing respite from the everyday hustle-and-bustle, ensuring a break in the beauty of nature. We can currently host up to 20 guests at our main lodge and also offer hunting accommodation.

Hunting Adventures

Khalanyoni Game Ranch offers the client a tailor-made and ethical hunting experience to suit your needs. We offer hunting experiences for every level of hunter, from your first-time hunters to experienced trophy hunters. At Khalanyoni, eAt Kvery hunt is accompanied by a professional hunter. Our dedicated hunter accommodation offers the perfect spot to enjoy your hunting getaway.

The species available for hunting on our grounds include Giraffe, Tsessebe, Buffalo, Kudu & Zebra.

Hunters are welcome to make use of their choice of weapon, whether rifles, muzzle-loaders, or bows and arrows. Our team is available to offer expert advice and guidance throughout the hunting experience.

Accommodation

Chalets​

Khalanyoni has two comfortable chalets perfect for family breakaways, corporate get-togethers, or a friend’s weekend away.

Each air-conditioned chalet includes a fully equipped kitchenette and dining area.
Chalet guests have full access to the swimming pool, main house, and braai area.

Main Lodge
The main lodge at Khalanyoni offers a swimming pool, snooker table, television with DSTV, dining area, braai area, kitchen, and bar.

The main lodge has two private bedrooms, accommodating 3-4 guests each. Each room has two three-quarter beds and one queen size bed. Both rooms have air conditioning.
The Main lodge bedrooms share shower facilities on the ground floor.

Hunting Camp​

The hunting camp at Khalanyoni offers basic accommodation for your hunting group.
The hunting camp has a cozy braai area and dining space, where hunters can socialize and braai after a long day in the veld
We offer three hunting rooms, varying from a one-bed cabin to a two-bed cabin. There are shared showers on site as well as a communal kitchen.

Game and Sunset Drives​

Discover the bushveld up close through the thrill of an African game drive.
We have both 5 and 13-seater game-viewing vehicles to provide a well-guided experience.
The very popular sunset drive offers some breathtaking sunsets and views to be captured and remembered, whilst back in the suburban race!
