Dangerous Game Double Rifle

Personally I would only use a caliber designed for modern powder and not one that transisioned from black powder eg. 375 H&H Flanged Mag, 416 Rigby Nr.2, 450/400 3" and 450 Nr.2 3 1/2 NE.....just me anyway......

Now a 450 Nr.2 and an extra set of barrels in 375 H&H Flanged Mag. Could be a nice combo......or just a 450/400 3" NE.....

I always thought a 22wmr or hornet might be great choices fir a small game double.
I dud see one in 22lr once based on a 410sxs.

But that's a beautiful gun and should be great for all kinds of small game.

Here's the target for the NorthForks - 25yds off a bag, iron sights. Hunting leopards over dogs the range won't be more than that.

Flew in an airshow in Smyrna years ago, beautiful country.

Best regards,

Franco
