Helluva heavy timber elk rifle! LOL! I love the Dakota calibers...but i also liked the Weatherby stuff growing up as well. The Dakota Co produced the 404 Dakota and went from there with it. I really like my 330 Dakotas as well! Ill send you a pm on this....trades or part trades at all???

Do you know if this is the MPI stock or the hs precision stock?

I believe it’s the MPI it doesn’t feel like a HS the texture.

Interested if this could be converted to 375 h&h.

Would appreciate anyone’s advice here, not a caliber expert.

If so, what type of work would need to be done to the action and barrel?

I could be totally wrong, but I believe the bolt face/extractor would be fit for any Dakota cartridge or the 404 Jeffrey.
The 404 Jeffrey rim is a bit larger than typical magnums based on the H&H case.

Nice rifle and good luck with the sale!

Great rifle for the buck! I own 4 of them.

I'm unfortunately on a diet. Presently in VA hospital as Agent Orange finally caught up with me. Cancer and I no longer can speak. If all goes well I'll be out of here and back home in Thailand by end of July. Tough road but I'm a tough old guy. I'll make it that hunt.

Nice one there. I guided for mulies and elk for about 10 or so years in northern New Mexico.
