Here is a question for the South Africans on here.
There has been an small importation of Musgrave rifles to Australia. They seem to be the current models made on VZ24 actions, with slightly heavier profile, made in house barrels. Stocks are a mix of laminate and walnut.

They seem quite well made with every and all the features I like.

What is their current reputation for quality ?
Do they require bedding ?

I'm trying to decide between the Musgrave and the Voere (with their Lothar Walther barrels).

PM me if you need to.

I can't speak for the Musgrave rifles but there is nothing wrong with the Voere rifles.

Code4,
My father has a .243, i do not think it is more than 15years old at max.
It is pretty decent, not top of the range by any means, but it functions well, and shoots well. It does not have good wood on it though.
His 243 certainly does not need bedding!
I cannot compare to the Voere rifles as i have no experience with them.

I was expecting some of the RSA members to pop up and share their experiences as they are fairly popular rifles in RSA.

Thx for the replies so far. I thought the RSA guys would have chimed in by now.

I haven't broken any sponsorship code or something have I ?
