Cash?

Why new currency specifically? Just curious

I had a young PH take an old ten dollar U.S. bill out of his wallet and ask me if it was still good. Evidently they are familiar with the new bills and suspect the old ones may not be any good. That and there are literally TONS of counterfeit U.S. bills in circulation throughout the world.

Seems that older bills become suspect in RSA. US currency has undergone a few changes in the last fifteen years with hidden water marks and placement of security strips. So some banks and shops will not accept the older bills.

Thanks, that certainly makes sense.

When I went to Kyrgyzstan 7-8 yrs ago they wanted NEW bills with no creases. They were rather specific, but relayed that to me only the day before I left. That took a bit of doing in my town to round up enough..... Likely the banks won't take the worn bills.....

Jerome, do you think my last post in rough camping must maybe shift as an article?

Good afternoon,

I'm trying to get in contact with Mr Butch Searcy. I have the opportunity to buy one of his rifles chambered in 577 nitro Express however the seller does not have any of the paperwork with the information about what ammunition or bullet weight was used to regulate it. I know he is not making firearms anymore but I wanted to reach out after seeing one of your post about him.

Hi - the only (best) method of sending you the .375/06IMP data is with photographing my book notes. My camera died so the only way I can do it is with my phone. To do that, I would need your e-mail address, as this
new Android phone is too complicated to upload to my desk computer, which would be easier and to down-grade, reduce the file sizes.
Best wishes
Daryl
