Man, I wouldn’t want to see him lose his job. He wasn’t knowledgeable at all and likely just started. He didn’t know what length of pull was when we started talking. He seemed like a nice guy and bet someone else in the department sold the gun. I will rack it up to poor training. He was very cordial, went in the back to see if there was a case, and measured LOP after I explained what I wanted measured. Did I get screwed because of his incompetence? Absolutely. I think his ignorance is to blame-not ill intention. The guy screwed up. I got too pissed about a gun in an interesting offering, but will move on.

. I hope they use it as a teachable moment, and nobody else gets screwed.
Blood pressure is getting back to baseline, but with all of you as my witnesses, I will never again step foot in a bass pro or Cabelas or spend a dime online. I admit I can be juvenile, but it is what it is. If this is the worst thing that happens to me this week, life is still good.
