Is it my eyes, or does the bottom barrel seem to be smaller in diameter than the top one?

BRNO probably built a pretty solid double rifles but:
1. Over under configuration is not as desirable are side by side double rifles
2. The 416 Rigby being a rimless cartridge requires spring loaded pawls machined into each extractor. Pawls seem to function as designed but they are a potential point of failure. In full disclosure, I have a Heym 88B double in 458 Win which it's twin pawls in each extractor I would bet my life on. I have also had 375 H&H doubles with single pawls that functioned properly.
3. Single trigger is not acceptable on a dangerous game double rifles. It reduces two separate rifles to a single rifle . Ever had a single trigger shotgun double on you? I have more than once.
4. Ugly, that rifle is just plain ugly. My opinion of course.
5. Regulation target looks like that 416 will be a 50 yard rifle. To me, a 416 is a 50 yard dangerous game cartridge and when opportunity knocks, a 150 yard cartridge in a properly regulated double. The cost of having a rifle re-regulated may be $1000.
6. I would value this rifle at $3,000 to $3,500 because the trifecta of O/U, rimless cartridge chambering, and a single trigger is the kiss of death for any possible resale.

Sorry but you did ask...

Don't apologize! I was looking for good honest feedback. Plus I already have a Krieghoff in .470 NE, I need this gun about as much as I need a hole in the head

Sir, I will gladly take that 16 gauge off your hands. I was waiting for your Winchesters but I'm a sucker for a 16 ga.

I bought a great deal of the brass he had for sale, plus I already had many hundred rounds.

How much brass are you looking for?
