Has anyone had these installed and what is the opinion of those who have used them?

Have installed quite a few. Work very well. Just be sure whoever installs them knows what they are doing!

Years ago I used Briley (and Stan Baker) tubes in my target guns. Both worked very well - no complaints at all. At this time all by shotguns are fixed chokes, which I prefer.

Had thinwalls installed in one of my shotguns back in 1998. Perfect, and I use this shotgun a lot, with everything from 7/8 oz. target loads to buffered Bismuth and lead hunting loads. I can't say enough good about them. Oh and they pattern wonderfully.

I did it to two guns. A 1956 Sweet Sixteen because I'm a duck hunter and, when I did it, only steel shot was available for the 16. I also did it to a 1979 BSS 12 gauge because I wanted an "everyday duck side-by-side". In both cases, Briley was fast and efficient. The turn-around time was amazing. And, the cost of the install was barely more than the value of the choke tubes they included.

Here's a photo of Tony receiving that Shaw & Hunter award at the 1970 annual EAPHA Dinner Dance. Tony Dyer, then EAPHA President and Princess (Sunny) von Auersperg presented it. I also attended the event.

Good Afternoon,
How firm are you on your Dakota 416? I am highly interested but looking at a few different guns currently.

Best,
BJ
