In addition to hunting, I love reading about safaris and somewhat inadvertently stumbled into collecting signed first editions. As many of the books are older, I've been searching for an acceptable way to keep the books safe.

Enter Alba of https://www.etsy.com/shop/OldOwlBooks? on Etsy. I commissioned her to make some custom clam shell boxes to protect the books. Sky's the limit in terms of colors, paper choices, etc. Production time took Alba about two weeks. She is located in the USA (something to always watch for with Etsy sellers).

Very reasonably priced and I am extremely happy with the result:

Wow that pretty cool, Just checked her prices, it would cost me over 80K to protect my library LOL...

Alba charged $65 per book. I just got boxes for some of my best/most vulnerable books.

where are you located? I would be happy to help you with you doing the reloading but I will only load for a very few real close friends as posted before liability is the problem. but will help you.

Just received your book. It will be a Christmas present from my wife. Looking forward to read it.
