Hello,

I've become fascinated by Blackbucks lately. Does anyone have recommendations on outfitters or places for Blackbuck hunts. In the US would be great but I'm open to combining a Blackbuck hunt with another hunt stateside or international. Thank you for any recommendations.

Argentina has fantastic blackbuck hunting

There are some options in Hawaii. There are also a couple of private reserves here in Australia with them.

Google hunting ranches/preserves and research. Some of these along the east coast offer them. I know Stonebridge Hunting Preserve in PA and 777 Hunting Ranch in TX offers them, I hunted there before. There are others for sure,

There was & may still be some free range in a couple of areas, one spot I think they went crazy to eradicate them however ?

Yes Argentina has some huge Bucks.

Argentina, Blackbuck and Axis (they also have Mouflan and Fallow Deer).

Florida has some on game ranches, last I checked, they were very pricy.

Blackbuck are on “the list” for our next Argentina hunt along with buffalo and possibly red stag…

I've heard that's a great place to hunt them, but only ever heard of archery tackle used. Is there rifle hunting also?

I looked into a Hawaii trip 2 years ago and there were rifle hunting options. Definately rifle hunting options here in Australia.

There are a number of Texas ranches to hunt them on. Been on my wish list for a while. Prices seem to of about doubled in the last 6 yrs or so. Some of the offers I've seen are places that seem more like shooting and not hunting. YMMV. There are some huge ranches that offer them tho. Saw a blurb a few yrs ago on Florida, but never pursued it there.
I have wanted to go to Argentina. Their debacle on trophy shipments over the years as well as changeable firearm importation practices have persuaded me to wait. Someday..... I hope.

They are still reasonably priced in Argentina. Unfortunately, after the big freeze here in Texas the price went up and has not returned to pre-freeze pricing.

My only concern about Argentina is if you can export them yet. I don’t know if the shipping (dip and pack) problem has been resolved yet.

Argentina is certainly cheaper than Texas but even if export isn't a problem, the shipping cost will eat up any savings. But hey, its still hunting Argentina which is a damn good time.

I have a Chapuis 450-400 double that looks brand new and shoots well, never been hunted from what I can tell. I am willing to part with it as I have a 375 H&H Sodia on it's way from Dorleac & Dorleac. I am looking for $9,250 for it and if you are interested, I am happy to send you some pictures. Regards,
Steve
