NT bull
9.3x74R double 286gr. 2250fps.
Well done once again.
Nothing wrong with that bull, looks like he has nice heavy bases. What projectiles were you using? Nice rifle.

Waidmannsheil @Aussie_Hunter on two gorgeous bulls!
Is it easy/cheap for foreigners to come hunt in Australia?

Cheers!

V.
Prices really do vary quite a bit depending on who you hunt with, also there is some outfitters in Australia that charge a premium to hunt bullocks with ridiculously enormous horns but I don't consider that hunting, that's really just paying for an animal instead of paying for a hunt.
Checkout True Wild Outfitters in Australia if you are considering a hunt, they put on a great hunt in real wild country at reasonable prices.

Hi Aus Hunter, I have been utilizing various rounds, the K gun has regulated so well with two sets of rounds one is the PPU's <1" at 75meters and the other is hand loads of Bertram actually 285's over 54g AR2209, and not 286g, I can get them to 1-2" at 75met , but for some reason she love the PPUs.
As one knows with a "she" if you find something she likes don't change it :giggle:....
Congratulations once again.

Im considering retiring from buffalo hunting now haha I don't think I will ever be able to beat X2 100 point bulls in a single hunt.
You don't have to beat it so long as you enjoy your days in the bush, the hunts and the experiences.

It's easy to come to Australia but to us Aussies it ain't cheap to hunt buffalo. Scrub bull hunts are less than half the price of a water buffalo hunt.
I've booked my scrub bull hunt for next year using my Whelen loaded with 310gn Woodleigh RNSP at 2,350 fps or 275gn Woodleigh PPSP at 2,600fps. Both loads should be more than adequate.

Next year for the scrub bulls mate.
You can even leave your 375H&H at home if you want.

I will gladly lend you my Whelen for the hunt mate. I will even load some 225gn Woodleigh RNSP to 2,900fps for you to use on pigs mate. No charge for the ammo as your a mate.

Bob, if I can make it I will bring a rifle. It's a long way and I have a few things to work around, and now a Wedding. My daughter is getting married late next year. It's no surprise it's been a while coming but they got engaged since I saw you .
Time is my biggest hurdle at the moment. I'm going to WA soon as I've been trying to get there for some time.

Congratulations on a very successful hunt. Nice work with the rigby.
I have also been waiting since 2019 to complete my NT buff hunt. Was good to see many quality Trophy bulls in the area I hunted.

Hi James, congratulations on winning a copy of Cries of the Savanna! I appreciate your interest in the book and hope you enjoy it.

I am leaving in an hour for the airport to meet up with my husband for a week so I will mail it as soon as I get home. I am sorry about the poor timing and making you wait.

Anyway, send me your address and I will get it in the mail as soon as I can.

Thanks again for entering!
