What’s so special about this particular reloading book? I ask out of curiosity…I am genuinely interested when some of these obscure (outside of small circles) books are so desperately coveted.

Amazon had this book listed for nearly $800…did John Browning come back from the dead and sign it???

In a nutshell, it’s an A-Z on cartridges by Art Alphin, ending w a tank gun (as I remember it, since it’s under an absolute pile of other collectible books like my many from “Collector Grade Publications,” many also now out of print which have absolutely exploded in value and demand). First Editions of limited print will always be in highest demand - first/only editions will be even more incredibly rare. It’s a good book, not at all as detailed as Col. Chinn’s 5-volume set on machine guns from the 1950’s for example, running at about the same price on the used book market, but still a wonderful book for what it is.

Holy cow I just went to CG’s website and after 42 years they’ve closed!! So this is why - increasing demand for extremely limited availability for immersive books.
