Alaskan Moose Arrives In Time For Thanksgiving

The room is 20 ft x 30 ft. The end wall, with the moose, is 20 ft wide. The side walls are 16 ft tall and the end walls are about 19-20 ft tall. The wainscoting wood panels are about 8 ft tall, so sheetrock, backed by 3/4" plywood goes from 8 ft to the top.

The opposite end of the room has the fireplace and an "African Wall." I hope to one day move the big eland up and have a nice cape buffalo take it's place.

In the photo above, it's a little hard to tell the relative scale of things. The photo below gives a better reference on the scale. It's a big room and needed a big fireplace.

375 Ruger,

That is an awesome display of your memories. Well done. Thanks for sharing.

I think you should join me for that buffalo hunt in July 2025. You know the place and I would be happy to share the camp with you:)

That fireplace is stunning. What is it made of
Travertine?
It's a cast stone. Basically cement and a fancy mold for each segment. Got it from a place in the Dallas area. The owners are really nice folks and took us for a tour in the "Factory" where they make all sorts of neat looking stuff.

That could happen, pending whatever I find at DSC this year.

Hi Lance, Hope you well. I collect Mauser rifles and they are very much part of my cultural history in Africa. Would you consider selling the rifle now a year on ? I'd like to place it in my collection of Mauser rifles. Many thx

I saw where you hunted elephant with backcountry safaris in Zimbabwe.
Was looking to book an elephant hunt and wanted to know how your hunt went
and if you would recommend them.

Thanks
Mike
hi, do you know about lions hunters, leopard hunters, and crocodiles hunters of years 1930s-1950s
I'm new to Africa Hunting. I would like to purchase a Heym 450-400 double rifle. I'm left-handed but would prefer a non-canted gun. Is anyone in the community considering parting with theirs?
