Wife just agreed to make the road trip to Houston in the morning.. We'll be there by mid day and will probably stay until the show closes that evening, and then head back home..

I see next year it is going to be held in downtown Houston, I fly to Houston for work every couple of months so would be keen to arrange a trip over next next years one as we stay downtown when there, what's the situation on getting a ticket to get in? Do you buy the at the door or in advance? Or do you have to be an SCI member to attend?

We were just there yesterday. Tickets at the door or prepurchase online. We prepurchase, but there was really no need. No membership required. If you happen to be a member of the Houston Safari Club, entrance is free. Otherwise $10. Smallish show, but headed to a bigger venue next year.

3 June at Richmond Arms. We're doing a bit of a sendoff for @Buff-Buster, who's headed off to Safari on the 7th. That's as good of a reason as any to hoist some beers.
