Jeff, I PMd you my contact info. - JakeYou got it we can talk tomorrow thanks Jeff
When my FFL received it , the action had import marks, no serial number, some info on action looked like rubbed of with wheel buffer or grinder. So my FFL said it could be used in US. BUT can not purchase a serial number on it till he thoroughly resurch the gun. Which would have been expensive. So my ffl returned the gun at my cost to the seller given ffl. This same gun had been sold to Krish in June? Did he not end up taking it? @krish
Rifle looked fine as posted. Very likable. OP bought the rifled action from the mentioned dealer and custom stocked it. Very nice and cooperative to deal with. It is my quirk I had to send it back.Look like a cheap entry into a sore shoulder!
No I meant a cheap entry into the 500 club.Rifle looked fine as posted. Very likable. OP bought the rifled action from the mentioned dealer and custom stocked it. Very nice and cooperative to deal with. It is my quirk I had to send it back.

Some older actions were not serialized as they were not required to. But if a action is imported then it requires a serial number. That is what my issue was.No I meant a cheap entry into the 500 club.
Yes, he should get a kick out of it. Sorry. If the buyer can work past that issue. Or the new serial number is legit. He got one heck of deal.
