458 Win vs 460 Weatherby

Limbsaver and KickEez both make pads big enough for the Coil-Chek if you need a new one.
Certainly some grind to fit options. The geometry of the stock is well explained Art's book and I certainly appreciate it more now having one and fully understanding the benefits.
Like I've mentioned in this thread...this stock design, if it fits you and you can handle it, dispel the rumors almost entirely of the 460 wby and keep them relegated to the issue with the brake, the Mark V, and campfire tales...

I don't have a 458 Win. A couple 375 Weatherbys, but I would like to add a 458. I am looking at either a 458 Lott or 460 Weatherby.

If a 458 win has 65# of felt recoil and the WBY has 95# as previously posted, how much more weight does the WBY need to be equal? Is it a linear relationship? IE 9# rifle divided by 65# times 95# equals a 13.1# rifle?
There are online recoil calculators online.

Hi Dr. Ray, I will be in Cooktown from Oct 16 to Oct 23 fishing Lizard Island Black Marlin Tournament.

I have several "slack" days after fishing before I head for stay in Sydney and Fiji.

Do you have any recommendations for 1 or 2 day hunt near Cooktown?

I've hunted both DG and PG in 4 different countries in Africa.
Thank you,
Bob

Good morning. I see that you had a Sauer 202 for sale for $3,000. Did you sell it at that price?
I have one for sale as well. I listed it (on here ) at $3,000 as well. Is the price high, low or right where it should be?

Thanks. Alex. [redacted] in case you want to call me to discuss further. I appreciate your time help and support.
