Can anyone provide me information on the dimensions for the 400/360 WR Rimless or point me to a link. On a whim I picked up a rifle that purported to be a 333 NE but upon doing some measurements its apparent its somewhere in the .358-.360 bore area as a 333 bullet falls straight through and its bolt is obviously set up for rimless cartridges. Slugging the bore and casting the chamber this weekend but the WR is the only nominal 36 caliber that I could find that that was made in rimless. If anyone else has any ideas I'd appreciate hearing them.

I have a double in .400/360NE WR but it is rimmed, it’s a bugger as mine has a .360 bore, too big for .358 & too small for .366-9.3 but it is a cool cartridge, looks a bit like a giant .303 Brit .

Your rifle still sounds like a great find !

I’ve never seen one and interestingly the one Westley Richards catalog that shows it features it on an ad for their ‘97 falling block rifle.
It looks like it could be based on the 280 Ross but I don’t see the case dimensions anywhere online.
I’m looking forward to seeing your rifle and chamber cast.
It may even be a 375 Rimless Express. WR sold some rifles in that chambering.
