Not sure why, but I feel Under-gunned with my 375 H&H. thinking of rechambering to a 375 Weatherby or 375 RUM -- lets hear your thoughts or experiences on this. Thanks

Roll with whatever tickles your fancy, but I agree with Corey.

Agreed with the above. Has it failed? Thats the question. Good luck in your search. Personally, I don't think the Weatherby is the answer.

I realize this happens very few times, but what if you land in Africa with a 378Wby or a 375 RUM and your checked bag which contains your ammo does not show up. This has happened to me 2 times. At that moment you'll wish you had a 375H&H. I certainly do not mean to say there is anything wrong with your other 2 choices, I'm just pointing out one of the obvious reasons to stick with 375H&H.

375 Weatherby you mentioned. Best of both worlds. Sizable push in power. 375H&H in a pinch. Plus, you poke everyone that think Weatherby is a dirty word. Everyone wins

There is absolutely nothing wrong with a 375 H&H. But if you feel like you must change it, go with the Weatherby. As already mentioned, you can shoot H&H ammo in it. I have a PH buddy who has a 375 Weatherby and he told me just last week that he shoots a lot of H&H ammo through it and it works well.

The Improved .375’s can exceed 5100 ft-lbs of muzzle energy putting the .375 caliber in class with heavy dangerous game big bores. At approximately 250 fps to 300 fps increased velocity over the great H&H trajectory is nice and flat for plains game or mountain hunting for that matter. In particular the .375 Weatherby chambers .375 H&H making it extremely versatile. I think the .375 Weatherby makes an argument for the finest one rifle battery in the world.
