The fellow beside me was shooting this 22 cal falling block. Neat little gun. He said it was a 1910 training rifle to train with the Martini-Henry rifles. Neato!

Sorry for the crappy pics.

Very accurate rifles. Many a schoolboy in South Africa learnt target shooting with those BSA Martinis, prior to upgrading to the Anschutz bolt-actions. Unfortunately with the start of the new firearms control act of 2003, they were all handed in and destroyed.

Great little rifles and that one looks to be in good nick.

It is a,martini cadet rifle most likely made by BSA in England.
They were very common in Australia at one stage. The original caliber was .310 martini cadet, similar to the32/20. A lot were converted to 22 Hornet, 222 rimmed (an Australian invention) 357 mag and a lot of others
The BSA converted to .22 rimfire has an excellent reputation for accuracy.
They look nice fully customized.
I looked at one in 17 HMR stainless steel barrel and xxx walnut stock but out of my price range.
Cheers mate Bob
Sorry to bore you.
