What Scope for a 9.3x74R double?

Not at all. However, the barrels are regulated for heavy bullets. I use the small Zeiss scope for that. When the large Zeiss is mounted, I use the gun as a single-shot and use relatively light bullets.

Great choice! I have that scope mounted on my bolt action 9.3x62. It is excellent in every way. Far superior to the Leupold 1.5-5x but slightly larger.
On my 9.3x74R Beretta double rifle I have an excellent S&B Stratos 1,5-8x42 scope. I never seem to use it over 5x while hunting, and shot an elk with it a month ago at a measured 210M. Hit exactly where aimed. More magnification is nice on the range for targets, but you won’t miss higher magnification while hunting.
