Up for your consideration is a Thompson Center TCR with a barrel chambered in 7mm REM Mag. This rifle has the proper receiver for use with the magnum cartridges and is marked as such. She has a few dings and scratches but a solid and very nice rifle. Metal is near perfect. These are getting scarce and are fun rifles. 1k to your ffl.

Cool.piece of history...

I love these rifles. I wish I would have got interested in these back when SSK had all the mono blocks.

Rumor is they are thinking of running them again

That would surprise the hell out of me, it would be cool if they did but I just don’t see the market supporting it. Contender and encore for sure but the TCR I don’t think so, hell, a lot of guys don’t even know what they are. The lawyers damn sure wouldn’t let them put the same triggers in them and the triggers are what first got my attention, they are great after the set, not so much if you just pull the trigger without it.

I have to admit. I've never seen one of these @Bullthrower338 Very cool and in great shape. I'm guessing a switch barrel going by @skydiver386 post? I have wanted an Encore/Contender for that very reason for probably 20 years. I finally got a very good stainless synthetic 270 this year. Not nearly as pretty as the rifle listed.

That is the Aristocrat '87, correct? The 'ordinary' TCR didn't have the set trigger. Fine piece of firearm right there!! Had one years ago in .243 and .30-06; definitely one of those 'should never have traded' items!!! Good luck!!!

This was the original advertisement for the TCR rifle.

I have one of these T/C TCR rifles as well, along with five barrels: .308 Win, .30-06, 7mm Rem Mag, .416 Rem Mag, and a one-of-a-kind .470 Nitro Express barrel that was specially commissioned and engraved by the owner of SSK Industries.

They really are remarkable rifles, and the interchangeable barrel system makes them exceptionally versatile. Unfortunately, they never received the recognition they deserved. It's nice to see another one surface, especially in such good condition. Good luck with the sale thats an exceptional price!

Thanks for looking gents, no longer available.

Noah,
I might be interested in the 470 Woodleigh Softs if the price is right for the entire lot. Are you planning on going to the Tulsa Gunshow in November? If so, perhaps we could meet up.
