Dear AH Members,

After the success of the 2026 AH Group Hunt @Green Chile and myself will be putting together another group hunt focusing on Dangerous Game for 2027! AH Gold Supporter @Green Chile will be the Guest Host again on the hunt and will be present in camp during the hunt. He has personally hunted the area with me a number of times chasing all kinds of game and critters including 4 of the Dangerous 7, numerous Plains Game and night critters.

The focus of this Group Hunt will be Dangerous Game and the hunt will be conducted in the Limpopo Valley of South Africa, the most northern part of the Limpopo Province. The hunting area is 20 000 Acres and is a prime Dangerous Game area with also a wide variety of Plains Game! If a member wants to focus only on Plains Game and/or night critters that would be great and he would still be more than welcome to join. There are over 35 species of Plains Game and numerous night critters available for your hunt!

The Lodge is situated on the hunting area and each hunter / hunting couple will have their own private chalet, each with an en-suite bathroom, air conditioning and Wi-Fi. There are 3 spots available for the 2027 Group Hunt, meaning 3 hunters or hunting couples each hunting 1 on 1. Extra Hunters and/or Observers are welcome to join!

This Group Hunt will be conducted during the 2027 Safari Season.

I am excited that we are able to post the 2nd year of this great opportunity to hunt with like-minded people from this forum. We have done the logistics to get you to a fantastic camp with excellent food and drinks. We have put together the best local PHs and believe me, you will love these guys. Every single participant this year told me how much they loved working with their PH and several trips are being planned for their return and working together again! The ranch is laid out very well for superb DG hunting. The buffalo are there...the croc setup is world-class for spotting and stalking. I have made this statement many times and I stand by it, there isn't a better croc setup in South Africa. How do I know that? Because many PHs bring their clients from outside to get their croc at this location. There are thousands of crocs here and spot and stalk along the cut banks is far more interesting than baiting.

I personally make a lot of effort to ensure each group is having an excellent trip. I will spend a couple of days with each group and their PH during the hunt. My main goal this year was to be present when each hunter's buffalo was taken and that was exactly what happened with some luck on timing. I was with each person and helped their observer/spouse experience it safely. I hope to do that again.

High quality PG are everywhere but it doesn't mean they are easy! Yea, go tell the camp you are going to chase zebra and see what happens...they disappear! Then you find something else and have to chase it to eventual success. The PG are numerous and of great quality.

The night critters are awesome. This is THE place to get your honey badger and numerous other species.

Dieter and I stand by for your questions. I'm available for phone conversations and will help with whatever is needed from start to finish. We look forward to making new friends on this offering!

I retire in June of next year. May was just a tad to soon for me. But... 2028 will see me there!

AH Members don't miss out on this hunt for 2027!!

@Green Chile @MATTANJA HUNTING SAFARIS

The brown Hyena is not exportable from SA to USA, is that correct? If so, why is brown hyena banned but not spotted hyena?

Is the crocodile any length, or is there a set length for that price and tiered pricing above that?

Is spotted hyena available to hunt, if so, what price?

@Sabre That's correct on the Brown Hyena, they can't be imported into the US currently from SA. It's a good question, one I don't have an answer for to be quit honest. I've heard rumors that Brown Hyena from SA will soon be importable into the US. I hope there is truth behind it!

The Crocodile is for any length, you can expect on average a 12ft/13ft Croc. The Croc taken on the '26 group hunt was slightly over 13ft!

I don't have Spotted Hyena in the Limpopo Valley where the Group Hunt is hosted, the success rate is just to low! I offer Spotted Hyena Hunts in the South African Lowveld where the success rate is much, much higher! I'll send you a DM with some info

This property is well known for several reasons...the croc setup is world class...excellent buffalo and PG...but something not often considered is how good the night hunting is. A number of PHs have brought their clients here just for the variety of night critters that are available. Here are a couple of notable examples.

Everyone needs a honey badger! Here is Vusi, the lead tracker with our honey badger.

Something else that is a real favorite of PHs to hunt at night are the bush pigs...they are fun and challenging!

Do you mind me asking what auction you are referencing? I'm not in the market for any of those rifles...just curious.

Good morning from Montana.

I'm looking at a post from 2018 where you were looking for a lefty Winchester in .375 H&H Magnum. I'm selling mine. My email is [redacted] in the event that you're still searching for a unicorn.

Best,

Kelly Palmer
Gents, if you book and pay your deposit before the end of this year , you can have the bigger cull package for the 2026 price! https://www.africahunting.com/threa...griffiths-safaris-starting-at-us-2-560.96285/
