JULY 2027 | CATCH & COOK KALAHARI SAFARI – LIMITED COUPLES HUNT
with HTK Safaris South Africa

1000391446.jpg

Ladies and Gentlemen,

We’re opening a very limited July 2027 Safari
that’s a little different from your standard plains game hunt
- but make no mistake, the hunting comes first.

This is a Kalahari hunt combined with a premium “field-to-table” experience, designed for hunters who want to bring their wives/partners along without sacrificing a proper Safari.

THE HUNT

You’ll be hunting true Kalahari terrain
- big country, spot-and-stalk, quality animals.

Standard package includes:
-Gemsbok
-Blue Wildebeest
-Impala
-Springbok
-Blesbok
-Warthog

This is not a put-and-take setup
-expect real hunting, tracking,
and shot opportunities that have to be earned.

We do have custom options available:
If you’ve already taken the basics, we can tailor your hunt with species like,
-Golden Wildebeest
-Black Impala
-Nyala
-White Blesbok
-Buffalo
-Sable
-Gemsbok
Or anything else still on your list.

WHAT SETS THIS APART
Most hunts end at the skinning shed.
This one continues to the table.
Your game is prepared as high-end meals by a professional chef from Dallas, Texas.
Proper South African cooking, not lodge buffet food.
Cooking demos, wine pairings, and bush dinners.
Evenings built around the fire, not a schedule.

This is the kind of trip where non-hunting partners actually want to come back again.

PRICE
$8,900 per couple
8 nights in camp
All meals & culinary experiences
Guided hunting
Small, exclusive group (4–6 couples max)

THE REALITY
We are only taking a handful of couples for this.
This is not a volume hunt and not something we’ll run every month.
Once the spots are filled, that’s it.

If you’re looking for a serious hunt with an added experience your wife will actually thank you for, this is worth your time.
-If you’re just price shopping, this probably isn’t it.

Best Regards
Brendan Jonker

Anything planned for the spouse during the day?

Yes sir, we absolutely do.

Spouses and kids are welcome to join the hunt at their leisure. Sleep in, take it easy, and join us whenever they’re ready – we’ll adapt to their schedule! We can arrange for a vehicle to pick them up at camp, so they can join us for the last part of the morning session, or they can take the morning off and join us for the afternoon hunt. Your pace, your plan!

Highlights to look forward to in Camp:

o Savour delicious meals featuring your own game meat, while indulging in our extensive South African wine selection.
o An afternoon visit to the local village, where we will hand out some game meat and gifts to the kids. (Get in touch with us on what to bring and what not.)
o A Slingshot contest for the young ones.
o A build-your-own “Traditional Bushman Bow” workshop for kids.
o Meat preparation tips and recipes straight from the fire.
o Spend some time in the Photographic blind to capture those golden hour moments.
o Bush Walks and Game Drives for quality family time.
o Enjoy Bush Picnics, Bush Lunches and Sundowners for a change of scenery.
o Relax alongside the swimming pool with a refreshing cocktail.
o Spend a night camping under the open Kalahari sky.(A favourite.)
o Treat yourself to a rejuvenating spa day in camp. (Available on request)
o Get creative in camp with an arts and crafts day – paint, bedazzle, or decorate your own canvas or bleached skull. The grown-ups tend to enjoy it more than the kids.

*We can also go to town for a day of shopping and relaxing for a change of scenery.
*The spa treatments are always a hit.

Things to do on your way to camp:
o A quick visit to the Hartbeespoort Elephant Sanctuary on your way to/from the Kalahari combined with African Arts and Crafts shopping at Chameleon Village. (Only if your arrival/departure airport is Johannesburg.)
o A Day visit to the Kimberley Diamond Mine Museum and Big Hole on your way to/from the Kalahari. (Only if your arrival/departure airport is Kimberley.)
o Or add a Photographic Safari to the destination of your choice and tailored to perfection.

If there is any special request you have in mind, you are more than welcome to share it with us. Then we can plan the trip around it and make sure you have the best possible trip and experience in Africa. We are very adaptable.

I hope this answers most of your questions.

Kind Regards
Brendan Jonker

Thank you! I appreciate the compliment, and I must add it's a great success so far. We are hoping to grow it every year and just keep improving and building on it.
