Argentina Dove Hunt Questions

I am leaving next Friday for a dove hunt near Cordoba. Have been wanting to do this trip for years and finally put a group together.
My question is about tipping the staff, bird boys, etc. Do I need to get Argentine cash or will US dollars be ok?
Any of you guys who have done this trip, thanks for any other advice. We are hunting at Las Chanares.

They will prefer dollars, though twenties can be a problem. Many banks won't take them. Assuming you have a three day shoot with the same bird boy, give him a C-note or two at the end.
 
@Red Leg advice is exactly what we did on two Argentina dove hunts..
 
As mentioned, USD is actually preferred in that part of the world (and most places). Personally, I try to have cash just in case the card machine doesn't work that day or whatever. Cash also lets you know it goes directly to the person you are trying to tip, not the owner or just the boss man, etc. Btw, besides the bird boys, most of the time you have a guide, kitchen staff, maybe a hostess/property manager and maybe others, e.g. a driver. Just may want to think about having enough for multiple people. A little bit goes a long way down there. Cheers
 
Thanks guys for all the replies. Exactly what I was looking for. Kinda thought US dollars would be fine.

Hi Dr. Ray, I will be in Cooktown from Oct 16 to Oct 23 fishing Lizard Island Black Marlin Tournament.

I have several "slack" days after fishing before I head for stay in Sydney and Fiji.

Do you have any recommendations for 1 or 2 day hunt near Cooktown?

I've hunted both DG and PG in 4 different countries in Africa.
