North Fork Bullets For Serious Hunting

I would suggest shutting down all advertising and sales and ramp production up for 6-12 months before trying to sell any more product. The fact that nothing is ever in stock raises a lot of concerns and questions about the company itself. You need to build your manufacturing base before you try and move the product.
Dear revturbo9967,

Thank you very much for your recommendation. We truly appreciate your feedback and support.

In fact, many of the points you mentioned are already part of our long-term production strategy, and we fully understand the importance of building a strong manufacturing base and maintaining consistent inventory levels.

The advertising and visibility you may currently see for North Fork Bullet are largely the result of marketing activities and partnerships that were planned well before the challenges we have faced over the past few years. While some circumstances have affected our production timeline, we have continued to honor our commitments and maintain communication with our customers.

Our primary focus remains on increasing production capacity, expanding the product range, and ensuring that every North Fork bullet meets the quality standards that our customers expect and deserve.

We are grateful for your patience and for caring enough about North Fork to share your thoughts. Feedback from dedicated customers like you helps us continue moving in the right direction.

Have a nice day.

Kind regards,

At least the Barnes you can readily get and also half the price.
It’s hard to decide between the 2 so both are my favorite.
Dear 45-70guy,

Thank you so much for saying that.

To be compared with Barnes and to hear that North Fork remains one of your favorite choices is a wonderful compliment for our small team.

We know we still have work to do when it comes to availability, and we truly appreciate your patience. What means the most to us is that experienced hunters continue to trust our bullets and the performance they deliver in the field.

Thank you for your support and loyalty. We hope to keep earning that trust for many years to come.

Warm regards,

There is a glimmer of hope…

I went onto North Fork’s website on Tuesday and while they still do not show most of the bullets I’m interested in as available, they did show .338 caliber 225 grain solids as available so I ordered a box. They were delivered today! Just 3-days from when I placed my order.

I’ll be loading these to take a few with me to Mozambique in September and use them for both tiny ten species as well as follow-up shots on buffalo if I end up using my .338 on a buffalo. I wish I could get some Northfork Semi-Spitzers for my .338 but at this point I’ll likely have a 225 grain TTSX chambered for first shot with Northfork solids for backup.
Dear DLSJR,

Thank you so much for your message — we truly appreciate it.

We wish you a great and successful hunt in Mozambique, and we hope our bullets will perform exactly as expected in the field.

We are very sorry for the limited availability of our products at the moment. We fully understand how important consistency is, especially for dedicated hunters like yourself.

Please know that we are working hard every day to improve production capacity and to expand the available range as quickly as possible, while maintaining the quality standards that North Fork is built on.

Thank you again for your understanding, patience, and support — it really means a lot to us.

Warm regards,

I’ve ordered three different weights of NF SS .423 from three different vendors this past week.
Dear BAY,

We are very grateful for your understanding and support. We are sincerely sorry for the additional shipping costs you had to incur by ordering from different vendors — we truly understand how inconvenient that can be.

Please know that we are working hard every day to improve availability and make our products easier to access in the future.

We wish you a wonderful day and a very successful and enjoyable hunt.

Warm regards,

Hello Ekaterina -Thank you for your update. I as a customer do really like your SS bullets in large calibers. I do understand the obstacles you face or are facing but what I think will really help is an ETA here in the US.

Good day dear SStomcat,

Thank you once again for your message.

If I am not mistaken, I previously responded to your question regarding the delivery of the calibers you are interested in to the US, and at that time the estimated timeline was February 2026 according to our production and logistics plan. Unfortunately, for several reasons, we were not able to meet that timeline.

It is truly difficult for us to acknowledge that we did not meet your expectations and were unable to fulfill the previously communicated delivery schedule.

For this reason, we are now being very careful about communicating estimated delivery dates until we have a much clearer and more reliable understanding of actual timelines.

At this stage, our main priority is to build up stable inventory levels in our warehouse in Texas and with our US partners. This is currently our key production and logistics focus.

As soon as we have a confirmed schedule, we will begin sharing updates, including phased and incremental availability as products become ready.

Once again, we sincerely apologize for not meeting the previously communicated delivery expectations for the US market. We truly hope for your understanding and continued support.

Have a nice day.

Kind regards,

I do prefer the north forks over the barnes but the domestic manufacturing of the Barnes is probably the explanation on cost.
Hoping to utilize more .358 bullets in the future as they become available.

Thank you, hope to find some in stock in the future

One bullet .404 Jeffery would liked , the 300 grain HP copper mono .

From a defunct Norwegian maker I had some of them which your HP looks very similar to , and they flew very flat . Would be a very good option for the .404 and 10,75x68 .

Maybe a 190 9,3 also would be similar one as it would be

when do you think you will have the 400 gr Semi Spitz .416 back in stock in the US?

I was so impressed by the 350 gr in 375. That l purchased some 120 for my .257 Weatherby. Impressed with them also, replacing the 100 TTSX with them for most of hunting here in the states

These are the bullets i am handloading in my .375 H&H and .366 Mauser for backup here in grizzly country. 300 grain and 286 grain cup nose solids. Intuitively they seem like the perfect ticket for the application - a non-spitzer (good frontal area) solid that expands.

I just used a 400gr North Fork Cupped solid pushed through a in .404J AHR rifle on a cull hunt in Australia. Absolutely devastating Thor hammer results. I shot them side by side with same weight Barnes X bullets. Side shot through vitals- we all know how well Barnes X work!- this trip, same results. But, here to say, if you can get bullets, the North Fork Cupped Solid was absolutely devastating at any quartile towards or frontal shot. Literally dropped buffalo where they stood. Impressed. I do hope NF gets production and distribution worked out. Great product in my book.

I am one of North Forks biggest fans.

Used the 250 grain SS in my 375 H&H last year in South Africa. Hunted some of the larger plains game. All were one shot kills except for a Roan that I hit high. He still went down and required a finishing shot.

That being said, I am disappointed in North Forks production issues and communication.

I attempted to contact one of their supposed representatives via DM voicing my concerns.
No response.

I emailed one of their backers who has a podcast on YouTube. No response.

I attempted to call the number here in the US that is listed on their website. No answer.

Sometimes the silence speaks volumes of a problem.

I will remain a fan if their products but if you can’t get them your support starts to wane.
