Swarovski 5-40x56, any reviews?

It is the clearest, most pornographic glass I have ever looked through. But I did not buy one.
 
That’s a pretty good endorsement. Seems like enough magnification to see into the soul of whatever you’re shooting.
 
Have not put my hands on that. But their sister company Kahles has a 540i that is very nice.
 
They are really big and heavy. That is the only downside. Everything else is probably best on the market at the moment.

NIce but massive in size and weight. See no need for one on a hunting rifle. It is a cross over for long range target / steel shooting. Too cumbersome for me.
 
For long-range hunting, I would prefer Z8i 3.5-28x50. Still a long scope, but much lighter and more elegant.
 
I have seen it and I am really tempted to sell my 2.3-18 and get the 5-40 for the .300WM.
