Up for sale is my Winchester .375H&H Classic Stainless rifle. This gun is a 3+1 configuration. Barrel is threaded 5/8x24. The gun is very well balanced, action runs very smoothly, I’ve loaded solids, softs, and a mixture of both, all feed very well.

Action is ‘Control Round Feed’
Weight: 7lbs 15oz
Barrel length: 21”
LOP: 13 5/8”
3 position swing safety
Thread protector included
Gun manufactured in 1997

Will ship directly to your FFL in the lower 48 states. Buyer must ensure firearm is legal in their jurisdiction.

It’s the factory stock. I would guess it’s fiberglass and or Kevlar mix.

The barrel is threaded and has a thread protector on it. The thread pitch is 5/8x24. The options would be to use it as is, put a brake on it or perhaps use a suppressor.
 
This is the fair price for this rifle.

I just got into a bidding war for the same rifle on Gunbroker and was the high bidder at $2,375.

Only difference was mine was in the original configuration, 24” barrel with front sight still in tact. The barrel was not threaded.

Thank you for mentioning this. When I did my last look online before posting this gun I had seen one sell for between 2600-2700, and Hendershot's currently has one for 2999.00. Both of those have 24" barrels and a front site.

I will say I had the barrel cut, re-crowned and threaded by a good gunsmith, his charge for that was 200.00. Having 3" of the barrel cut off really helped the balance of this gun. Before, it was very front end heavy.
 
Indeed they are barrel heavy. I have ordered a McMillan Super Grade stock for mine. It will have “Magnum Fill” in the butt stock. Hopefully will balance it out some. If not, I may shorten the barrel.
 
I am VERY familiar with these Winchesters. This vintage. This model. G Prefix. In my opinion, this Winchester is the finest mechanical Winchester ever made. Far superior to Pre 64's.

I am not necessarily a fan of the 375 calibre, but of this bolt action rifle, I can say without reservation that it is among the very finest bolt action rifles ever made.
 
Given a handful of people have written to ask, YES, the barrel on this rifle is the original factory barrel.

Good luck with your sale. I love the Win M70 Classic Stainless rifles. I have two in .375 H&H, and the Classic Stainless BOSS versions in 300WM and 270Win. The .270 has taken the vast majority of my African animals.
