The old .357 is a joy to shoot in an N frame or GP100, and it’s relatively powerful! It can also be loaded down or .38s used for fun. Any interest in it?

Yes I have S&W 66-1 2.5in, was shooting a bunch of magnums & stuck a set of Pachmayr Grippers on it, not so great looking but sweet to shoot !I bought my first .357 magnum a S&W 66 4” when I was 16yo for $350…. With original box and paperwork, Bianchi holster, and Hogue grips.
In 2009 that pistol was stolen and every time I see what they cost now I just get so pissed I don’t even think about buying another.
Pulled my GP100 out last week and headed for the range. We both shoot pretty good.
Since we now need to take a refresher course and qualify on a target for our CC cards now in Colorado I figured that I needed to see how I can shoot. But I'm debating on what to take for the shooting part. My 357, 44 mag, 41 mag, or a 22 lr.
But they don't say what you can use so I might show up with a 7-30 Waters in a Contender and see what they say.

12 inch hunter barrel so 2 inches of it is a brake. It wears a 2-7 Burris scope.Like your choices. LMAO at you screwing with the instructor with that Contender. Is that a 10 inch or 10 + inch barrel with a scope...or red dot?
The 22lr. Save on ammo cost for the bigger calibers.
