I am really confused about the logic of this now. Azerbaijan has no US bases or anything to do with Iran. I wonder if the Armenians are doing it and letting Iran shoulder the blame.

If true, this scorched Earth tactic is going to backfire even more.

It was in this link.

Azerbaijanis are the largest ethnic minority in Iran. I once read that there were as many living in Iran as Azerbaijan, I don't know if that's still true. Iran and Russia essentially partitioned Azerbaijan in the 1800s.

The dems should be good with it if this is the case, after all it’s “stolen land”

Azerbaijan supplies around 30% of Israel’s oil by pipeline through Georgia and Turkey. Kazakhstan does similar amounts and they may be using the same pipeline. That seems to be reason enough.

As someone here mentioned it could be as simple as a dying snake striking everything it can reach.

Ho..

ly..

Shit.

If this hack attack on Amazon is perpetrated by Iran, and mama can’t get her box ordered all hell could break out. Men, run for cover and load and lock. This could very well be WWIII.

Refineries buy oil every day. When they produce gasoline with oil bought yesterday at $60/bbl, and the price today is $75/bbl, they have to replace the barrel they produced with the more expensive barrel. If the price of oil then drops back $60/bbl, should they reduce the price they charge for gasoline made with the more expensive barrel, or charge the price justified by the more expensive barrel they actually used? If they did, though, they couldn’t compete with someone who has made gasoline with a barrel bought today.

The accounting concept for this is called “LIFO” (last in first out). The alternative would be FIFO (first in first out). As noted above, only one of these really makes sense for the refining business (FIFO is actually more commonly used, especially for perishable goods).

That’s really just accounting. The market sets the price of gasoline, jet fuel, et al, not the accountants. Fuels pricing clears in major trading hubs, London, NYH, Houston, Singapore, etc.. Product typically prices off the nearest hub plus transportation to a given location. Refiners are price takers, not price setters.

CH46 is not a Chinook. I'm not flaunting anything. I am just saying killing a human being is horrible, something you will live with for the rest of your life. I don't take the responsibility lightly. I am sorry if my view upsets you. I really don't even know how we got to this. Everyone who has been in the military especially the Marine Corps are a brotherhood. If you have served in combat that is another group altogether. I just commented that saying you will do something and doing it are two different things. Have you been in combat, not just a war zone but in combat. Now, let's move on.
Yes, I have.

With respect to my comments, it was simply to suggest from one old soldier to another, to know the room. We have fellow veterans reading these posts who would have six-inches of combat deployment bars on the sleeves of their uniforms. It is not something any would use to make a point.

Finally, sorry the chopper driver comment fell flat, but again, I was a soldier not a naval person or marine. In my world if it sounds like a crowd killer, looks like a crowd killer, and flies like a crowd killer, it's a Chinook.

Always liked and respected Marines, and always been really glad we had them - well except when as an institution they periodically thought they were the Army.

I was referring to the comment by Paxton. He wants to abolish the filibuster in its entirety.

I certainly don’t know what Paxton means by “lifting the filibuster” but he certainly didn’t say “abolish the filibuster in its entirety”. He may mean exactly what I wrote above. Make the Senate talk then vote. The silent filibuster came about in the 70’s. Senators have hid behind it ever since.

Did you really read the whole thing in the pic posted? He criticized Cornyn for not abolishing the filibuster. To me lifting means just that based on the context of his post. He never mentioned the old filibuster. But go ahead, carry his water.

Department of the Navy...

...Mens Department.

Canning Noem to bring in Mullin a huge mistake by Trump, IMO. All a result of a feeding frenzy created by hard left Dems, the MSM and RINOS. He’s starting to allow enemies from within to “shoo” him into corners and in directions of their choosing.

You are correct. Paxton did say that while condemning Cornyn which I take as continued election sparing.

I was going off the previous paragraph where Paxton says he would consider dropping out “if Senate leadership agrees to lift the filibuster and passes the Save America Act.” Which can mean multiple things.

For those on AH that don’t like Paxton or that like Cornyn, that seems like a fair negotiating stance. Paxton is offering an off ramp for himself. Cornyn gets his good friend Tillis on board to pass the Save Act and Cornyn gets his toughest competition off the stage so he can return to the Senate. This also probably saves Republicans another 100m to finish the primary. It has nothing to do with carrying water for anyone.

Paxton, is not going to drop out. Run off voters are hard line voters, those go to Paxton.
I really don’t understand the appeal of Paxton, his criminal history and abuse of the office of the Texas attorney general don’t mesh well with me , he is literally the only republican candidate i dont vote for during the general elections. Would vote for EL Capo over him on a ballot.

Hi - the only (best) method of sending you the .375/06IMP data is with photographing my book notes. My camera died so the only way I can do it is with my phone. To do that, I would need your e-mail address, as this
new Android phone is too complicated to upload to my desk computer, which would be easier and to down-grade, reduce the file sizes.
Best wishes

Hey Steve, This is Steve Washington we met at KMG last year. I am interested in your Winchester. Would love to speak with you about it. I work third shift and I cannot take a phone with me to work. Let me know a good time to call during one of your mornings. My phone is [redacted]. Live in Florida so I have to account for the time difference.
Look forward to hearing from you.

Good day, Slider.

Do you by any chance have any 500NE brass left that you are willing to part ways with?

Best regards,
Boela Bekker.
