My guess is her term as VA Governor will end up such a disaster that she wouldn’t stand a chance in hell of winning at the national level…

2 years with her in office will almost guarantee that the next VA Governor will be a very hard right leaning candidate…

I hope you're right....but I grew up in VA, and it's not the same place. She won counties (and performed well in others) that would have been nearly unthinkable not that long ago. VA as a state is kind of on an upward trend in sectors like tech, energy production, and even some manufacturing (Kongsberg in James City, and maybe an uptick in shipbuilding). My point is I think the state will do okay for the next couple years regardless of what she does.

Spanberger isn't stupid, she can pander to the woke liberal white lady public school teacher class (abortion, trans kids), the serious govt employee class (CIA, NED, State), the HR lady class (JD Vance is a misogynist) , and if you remember her debrief points from the 2020 election....

Biden and Democrat governors keeping businesses closed and consumers home long after everyone understood the cause and effects of Covid, which crippled the supply side of the economy.

Then, when there wasn’t enough in the supply side, Bidens team printed 4.8 Trillion and handed it out. Covid and the “Green new Deal “

Also, the Republicans need to remind people that just because the rate of inflation is lower. prices do not reset to pre inflation levels. Just because the rate of increase slows has never meant prices go down.

Points Republicans need to repeat often

When the Democrat federal government wages war on Coal. And utility companies switch to solar, wind and natural gas projects that cost billions to migrate to and they go to the state regulators for rate increases. Consumer electricity prices increased and will never come back down.

When the Democrat Federal government takes over health care and subsidizes waste fraud and abuse. Prices skyrocket.

When they blame cows for greenhouse gases destroying the planet and write policies to cause owners to get out of cattle. There are less cattle. And beef prices rise.

They proclaim $15-$20 an hour is now the minimum wage. Then wonder why all prices rise and will never come down.

Republicans need to do better with the details. Not merely saying Biden broke it and we have to fix it. None of these issues just happened. Bad policies caused them.

Young, charismatic candidates is their POTUS playbook… it worked with Clinton (playing saxophone on Letterman), Obama (just another basketball playing guy from “the hood”), etc etc..

That’s why they’ve been grooming Newsome so hard despite his laundry list of failures… liberal, middle aged, white women will love him.. and that’s become the focus point of the party…

I grew up in the styles you mentioned. However, my taste has evolved to a more modern look. Here are a few pictures from one of my residences where we designed the whole look. A single custom furniture company made ever piece of furniture. One recent change was to get rid of all drapes and replace them with motorized blinds.

Also, amazing is that those women will forgive his affair with an aide’s wife while he himself had a wife and young children. Guess, because his wife stuck around, they don’t care.
