Up for sale is my Remington 788 Carbine. These are rather rare to find and in a perfect caliber. Gun is in excellent condition, Bluing is perfect, and the stock is in good shape with some finish speckling. It also comes with 2 mags, weaver bases and rings and a vintage tasco scope. It is a package and the value is in the gun. So please don't ask to separate for a deal. It is already a deal for a Carbine model.

It has a standard factory LOP 13.75" and it has a 18.5" factory barrel. Comes with 2 mags!

788s have a 3rd capacity except for the .223 and .222 have a 4 rnd.

so this one is 3 in the mag and one in the chamber 3+1
 
These rifles are tack drivers. I have three of them chambered in 308. all with the short carbine barrel. LOVE THEM. They have a unique 9 lug bolt. I can't remember all the specs, but GOOGLE them and you'll be surprised at the information.

I priced this one to move, especially with the extra mag, they are running a 100.00 ea.!!

I have been using a "Personal Property" rider on my State Farm homeowner's policy to cover guns when I travel with them.
I have several firearms, but only one is worth over $20K (A Heym double rifle).
Very interested.
Would firearms be covered for damage, as well as, complete loss?
I'll can let the State Farm rider cover my watches...
