Ok, here's the Model 70 in 270 I had talked about in my other postings, finally getting past the feeling I should keep it! Super nice pre-64, numbers all match, factory butt plate and sights, shoots awesome.

As usual, let me know if you want more pics, info, video, or references (plenty of people have bought from me on here). asking $1350 obo Shipped to lower 48 (we can work something out for Alaska or Hawaii).

this should be gone...
if i didn't already have one in .270, be an easy decision. GLWS.

SPF Thank you Jbird!

Rifle has been received and you guys let me steal this one. The pictures do not do this rifle justice. It is beautiful and action is smooth and tight.

Glad you're happy with it.!

I love Model 70's! I have a 7mm-08 Featherweight, a 7mm Rem Mag Custom Sporter Super Grade (killed my biggest white tail with it), a .264 Win Mag Super Grade curly maple (one of my favorites!), and a .270 Win Super Grade curly maple which is beautiful but seems to be jinxed as I never see a deer when I take it out...but the.264 makes up for it :)

Congratulations. Let us know what your plans are for it.

Nice rifle at a fair price. I love my pre-64 m70s, I have a .220 swift standard rifle and a featherweight in .30-06. To the buyer: Boyd’s makes some halfway decent stocks for not a lot of money. I recommend buying one for hunting in inclement weather, leaving the original at home.

I realize how hard the bug has bit. I’m on the cusp of safari #2 and I’m looking to plan #3 with my 11 year old a year from now while looking at my work schedule for overtime and computing the math of how many shifts are needed….
