Gobi Argali

From the earlier days of hunting in Mongolia. 1987. Inspired by the Klinebergers and other pioneer hunters. This ram went 46", but as the hunting operations have improved, many Gobi rams have exceeded this considerably. My whole hunt for the Gobi Argali, Gobi Ibex and a trip north to the birch forest for Maral Stag and Siberian Roe cost $13,000. At that time, an Altai Argali hunt cost $12,800!!!!! Lesson learned. It's important to study trends and the leading indicators of change in determining hunting strategy.
