Another great cat! Good to see. It’s a very special animal!

Good for you!!

When did you apply?? I'm waiting since Sept:(

Beautiful mature cat!! Did they are it for you??

I'm betting 6.5yrs plus

Aged at 6.5-7 years, so you're spot on! Very happy with my first leopard.

Permit timeline info below... Hopefully yours makes it through the bureaucracy soon too!

1. Zimbabwe
2. Initially pre-hunt, but then circumstances changed and submitted update post hunt. So original submission May 2021, changes submitted Sept 2021. Permit approved April 2022
3. My permit application was filed electronically
4. Yes. Conservation Force handled my permit initially. Later, I enlisted the services of SSI, who took over managing the permit, as well as the rest of my importation needs

Initially April, but then amended the application in September.

No. We didn't weigh him- or if we did, I wasn't paying attention and don't remember the weight. He was actually starting to show degradation in body weight/size. We had a much bigger/fitter but also younger Tom on another bait, but went with this fine old gentleman. Glad we did.

Absolutely the right choice! We should only be killing past their prime males like yours

shakka yours is a stud too!

late Monday update--I received confirmation that my amendment (I put the shipping company Yellowshark as the consignor instead of the outfitter) to my permit which was issued two weeks ago was now pending. I should receive it within a week. So three weeks from amendment letter mailed to new permit so that I can proceed with import. It was a simple mistake and a simple fix (that cost $50 and three weeks). So hopefully we can begin shipping in the next 2 weeks!!!!

A friend of mine applied electronically with a robust application and A+ supporting evidence in mid-December. It was a Zim cat. He stated he got an automated email yesterday with status change to pending, whatever that may indicate.

thanks for your reply bob , is it feasible to build a 444 on a P14/M17 , or is the no4 enfield easier to build? i know where i can buy a lothar walther barrel in 44, 1-38 twist , but i think with a barrel crown of .650" the profile is too light .
