Have a 2 week old pair of **pristine** Leica Ultravid 7x42 HD+ up for grabs. Comes with the original pouch, neck straps, lens covers, cleaning cloth, manual & paper work.
I'm asking for $1700 USD. Free shipping (worldwide) with DHL.
These were manufactured in late 2021, and have the latest coatings.
Selling as I prefer my 10x42's as a general purpose pair for hunting in New Zealand.
The 7x42 Ultravid HD+ is an incredible binocular. It oozes build quality and is beautifully designed. It's probably the sexiest binocular in existence.
The 7x magnification really lends itself to hand-held use, because you get far less hand shake compared to a binocular with higher magnification. You also get that beautiful 6mm exit pupil which lets in loads of light, a wide field of view, and (in this case) a very compact and lightweight binocular which measures less than 6 inches tall and weighs around 700 grams. The 42mm Leica Ultravids are incredibly handy binoculars that you can have hanging around your neck all day long.
7x is a popular magnification for boating use, because large exit pupils (6mm+) give your eyes plenty of room to wiggle about - perfect if you're bobbing up and down on the water. For this reason, I'm throwing in a genuine 'Leica Floating Strap' made of orange neoprene. If you're ever made to walk the plank, never fear!! Your binoculars will survive the ordeal just fine.
I've barely used these binoculars. They haven't been out in the field - just used them a bit around the backyard, looking at birds. They're absolutely flawless in every way. The lenses are immaculate inside and out, and the exterior is pristine. The focusing knob is buttery smooth.
Paypal only.
Cheers,
AJ
