I saw this video being shared elsewhere, and I thought it was a very well done (and educational) video clip that succinctly, and very directly, summarizes several benefits of hunting as they pertain to elephant, but can very easily be translated to all African hunting. I especially love the way he compares, and contrasts, the financial breakdown of an elephant that is hunted versus one that is poached.

I really enjoy Buzz's videos from CMS, and have ordered a few over the last couple of years. I would love to hunt elephant with him one day......

Anyway, I reached out to him and asked his permission to share on this forum, and he graciously agreed.....

If the moderators feel this is better posted in the "Videos" section then please move it there.

Thanks very much for posting. An exceptional video. Thanks also to Buzz Charlton for doing this.

Yes I thought the video was well done.

Just out of curiosity, for those that have hunted elephant and especially our outfitters on this forum, what would you estimate the weight of the tusks of the big bull seen in this video a few times? The one that is in the grove of trees? His ivory looks long. Really a beautiful bull…

I used one of his videos to prepare for my elephant hunt. Good stuff.

Here are some pics for reference. By the way there are I believe at least three different Elephants.
