Dear Members, Hello to you all, during a robbery my bolt-action was stolen. I kept the bolt action outside the gun safe and so they got hold of it.. With SAKO it is near impossible/feasible to get hold of a replacement.

In the USA. There is a forum of nothing but SAKO guns some of which are for sale from private sellers and dealers too. You can also try guns America, guns international and gun broker, plus cabela and gander mountain. Sorry for your loss.

+1 on that

I just looked on gunbroker.com they have quite a few Sako L61Rs in 0-6 for sale. I have purchased a number of guns off gunbroker and have never had a problem. Shipping to a local FFL is a requirement. Read the add carefully and ask the seller any questions you may have prior to purchase.

Looking for something like this:

I have couple gunsmith friend here in Finland. I ask them if they got extra bolt. You have to measure headspace when you chance bolt (gunsmiths job) Have you asked Sako Factory?

Dear Raiman,

Thank you for extending your help.

I reside in South Africa. I phoned up a gunsmith here and he has said that my rifle is n standard 30.06 (not a Magnum) - this should be enough information for a gunsmith to know what bolt I require.

I know these bolts' are hard to find, so my expectations are realistic.

Thanking you,
