Here is the reason for all my success on this safari my PH know around camp as BP.

Day 5 of the hunt BP and I hunted all day for a big impala but never found the right one. On morning of bay 6 we headed to the same property for another try. We spotted this fellow and the stalk was on. After two hours of stalking him thru field and bush we finally got of him with the wind in our favor after 10 minutes of waiting on the sticks he finally gave us a good shot. At 200 yards the Whelen put an impala in the salt. So I can't hit a Zebra or a Kudu in the chest standing broadside at 60 yards but I can prfectly hit an impala with a frontal chest shot at 200 yards, what the term for African buck fever?

Oh I didn't miss any of the animals I shot at but on my first day my shoots where just off the mark. Everything I shot at ended up in the salt but the shoots on my zebra and kudu where an embarrassment.

Day 7, what a way to finish out my package with a 37" Blesbok. I swiched from the 35 whelen to my Ruger #1 in 30-06 because it has a better trigger and I thought I may have to shoot 200 yards. As it turns out I shot him at 60 yards.
