Booked for my 2nd trip!

After taking 8 different species on my first SA trip (Limpopo), I have booked my second trip. This time, I have decided to go with an outfitter who is a sponsor on this site, @Timbila GAME LODGE. On my list this time is a Duiker, Waterbuck, Nyala, Gemsbok, Sable, and a Cape Buffalo!
I have no idea how I am going to wait until June of 2028 to do this!

I booked my first one 18 months out and the wait was excruciating. But I joined this site, read a lot of hunt reports, and learned so much. It certainly did pass the time. You should read my hunt report from my first one. But now, this one is booked 2 1/2 years out. Ugh.

Me too. Mostly. I'm doing the 2025,2026,2027,and 2028 though. I'm not getting any younger and I can't spend it when I'm pushing up daisies!

Are you taking your own gun to do the buffalo hunt, if so, what caliber of gun are you taking?

I will be taking my own rifle for the plains game aspect of the hunt. I will be renting a gun from the PH for the buffalo. Unless of course I see something I like before then...
