6mm Creedmore

I shoot a 6mm creedmoor in my precision rifle, great round, minimal recoil so you can stay on target with your next shot but it is a hot round so if you are used to a 6.5 or 308 you should know you are going to go through barrels much quicker.

My son has one that shoots lights out, he shot out to a mile with it. Its a Savage that sucked at first, sent it back to factory and they rebarreled it. Then it starting working excellent. Has Leupold 5-36 scope or something like that. It is set up as a sniper rifle frankly. As stated in this thread, you can can see your impacts easy since very low recoil. We shoot it with a suppressor and it literally hardly moves when fired. I am not sure I would hunt with this round if anything over a TX whitetail (where I am) or a blackbuck or something. As far as plinking steel goes it is excellent. Cheers

thanks for your reply bob , is it feasible to build a 444 on a P14/M17 , or is the no4 enfield easier to build? i know where i can buy a lothar walther barrel in 44, 1-38 twist , but i think with a barrel crown of .650" the profile is too light .
