What are you reading?

I am going to be honest and say I don’t read novels or books. I go to the gym or plant food plots or go hunting or fishing.
I read enough at work via contracts and emails. lol.

I have many of the books mentioned in this thread, which I read and then re-read. Maybe my memory isn't what it once was--sometimes I almost feel like a re-read is the first time!

That’s not reading that’s called work and it rarely equates to pleasurable. Reading is usually relaxing. ;)

I just finished "Shotguns and Shooting" by Michael McIntosh yesterday. Excellent book if you enjoy shotguns. I also ordered "Baagh Shikar: The Art Of Hunting The Royal Bengal Tiger" and can't wait to give that a read. In the meantime, I will start on "How I Killed the Tiger: Being an Account of My Encounter with a Royal Bengal Tiger" by Frank Sheffield.

I just finished Carpet Sahib, it filled in a lot of details about Corbett's life is didn't know. However, shockingly, reading about his adventures as a hardware store owner, is not quite as exciting as his own stories of hunting maneaters. :)

I just started "Surely Youre Joking Mr Feynman" by Richard Feynman. Stories of his life and education and some really eye opening parts about working on The Bomb at Los Alamos. Its easy to forget how incredibly far tech has come since the 1940s. They didn't even have a calculator!

Boddington, Accurate Rifles and Riflemen.

Pretty sound with clean writing style.

Had an excellent classifieds transaction with JoninCO. A truly honest and standup member. I wouldn't hesitate at all to deal with him again. Thanks, J!

Hi Lance, Hope you well. I collect Mauser rifles and they are very much part of my cultural history in Africa. Would you consider selling the rifle now a year on ? I'd like to place it in my collection of Mauser rifles. Many thx

I saw where you hunted elephant with backcountry safaris in Zimbabwe.
Was looking to book an elephant hunt and wanted to know how your hunt went
and if you would recommend them.

Thanks
Mike
