Braai for lunch, on the way to the farm.
Ja but Castle tastes kak!I live in South Africa, all our beer is real, no beer flavoured water over here
If you shoot half your meat away there is definitely something like two much gun. Most shots are head shots, but on a slow day you have to take some heart lung shots also. When you pay for a hunt, and a wounded animal is not recovered, you pay$$$. With that in mind, no such thing as too much gun lol
Not going to disagree with your statement, you are correct about the loss of some meat. But no one (Americans)takes game meat home from Africa. If you shoot half your meat away there is definitely something like two much gun. 100%, it is a mix of your safari and hunting in the states, we hunt for the meat, not trophy’s, but then we also have to pay for the animals and the trip, accommodation ext . So trying to get the balance right. After processing and all the other cost it is almost cheaper to buy meat at the butcher shop. And there is no free hunting, so if you are a hunter you need to pay to enjoy your passion. Not going to disagree with your statement, you are correct about the loss of some meat. Never used the 6.5CM, but I’ve cleanly taken everything from Springbok to a wounded eland bull with the Swede.Ok, i do know there are other calibers that can do the same, that the Creed is a target round ext. no i do not plan to have a man bun, or wear a bra.
I needed a rifle for Springbuck and Blesbuck hunting in South Africa for up to 400-500 meters.
I am loading 130gr Sierra GameChangers, and the rifle is a Mauser M18.
What have you hunted with a creed? What will you be comfortable to hunt with it?
