Heym 88, 500NE For Sale

Might I make a suggestion for buyer and seller? Once a verbal deal is struck, send the Rifle to Borderview. When it arrives, the buyer pays for the rifle in full, then waits a few months to get the rifle imported and forwarded to their FFL.

If you use another intermediary, things won't go well. Most "Big" Canada dealers are having huge export problems and cannot get it done "the cheap ways" anymore. Borderview is the only option that has proven results in the past year.

The #1 risk to this transaction is the seller's ability to legally ship the gun to Borderview in Vancouver, BC. Trying to ship a gun in Canada these days is really tricky and most dealers can't even get it done anymore. Fedex won't do it. Yellow Freight was the old way but they went bankrupt last June.
If I understand if this is $20,000 Canadian that is a little over $14,000 US for a Heym…did I miss something ?

It is funny , I have been looking at that gun for years on Epps's website at a certain very reasonable price, then Rookhawk mentioned it on the forum....a few months later the price shot up a few K.

Interesting.

Wondering if the dealers are watching these forums.
I was about to approach Epps to purchase it on Lay-away the week it was pulled from the website. That's what lead me to buying the Merkel double instead.

I got a Merkel 160 AE, how do you like yours?

Hey my friend, I am returning to SA for a Cape Buffalo hunt in June 26. My outfitter has suggested Highveld but I have read some poor reports. Wondering how satisfied you were with your mounts from them? Thanks in advance.

Hi PaulB,
I have a Ballard Arms Model 1885 chambered for .333 Jeffery Flanged. Do you have any idea where I can get ammo for this?

I am new to this forum so I am sorry if I am doing something wrong!
Thank You!
