This pre-64 was manufactured in 1959 based on the serial number. It has honest wear on the original wood finish and metal finish with ZERO rust. This is a duplicate rifle in this chambering for me, so I'm letting this one go. Asking $2000 for the rifle plus $100 to ship to your FFL in a hard case that I will provide.

More pictures upon request from interested buyer.

That right there is the HOLY GRAIL in rifles for me.

Exact rifle and chambering. Unfortunately on the other side of the planet.

i would crawl through a paddock of broken glass to just touch it once.

Someone will get a rifle of a lifetime, good luck to both buyer and seller.

Or Buffalo Poo, eh?

No longer available here. Moving it over to a different sales site.

Didn’t seem to draw much interest.
I see.

My impression was that it was a little overpriced for the condition it is in but GB will sort that out.

Good luck with your sale. It will go for sure on GB

I thought the same thing. $1950 and free shipping in the mind of man seems about $1000 less than the $2000 +$100 shipping asking price.

I think a 5% price reduction would have sold the gun 3x in a week.

People are strange, round whole numbers rouse spending anxiety.

I hear you.

But I bet it goes for less than $1800 + shipping

Wow, I thought this would have sold almost instantaneously. A truly classic rifle in a wonderful caliber.

I have always wanted one in .300 H&H

I have two .300 WBY's and a Custom 30-06 that are great for plains game so never made it happen just because I have that spectrum covered. But yea...awesome romantic classic caliber/gun for African Plains Game Hunting. Have the stock redone or replaced, clean up the metal finish and it will be a awesome rifle for somebody

Good Afternoon,
How firm are you on your Dakota 416? I am highly interested but looking at a few different guns currently.

Best,
BJ

What is the minimum you would take.

I have a Chapuis 450-400 double that looks brand new and shoots well, never been hunted from what I can tell. I am willing to part with it as I have a 375 H&H Sodia on it's way from Dorleac & Dorleac. I am looking for $9,250 for it and if you are interested, I am happy to send you some pictures. Regards,
Steve
