It is with great regret that I must inform all of our fellow forum members about the unfortunate death of @SAFARIKIDD . He was a true sportsman and hunter to boot. A big bore enthusiast and a good man of solid character. He greatly assisted a mutual friend of ours in a time of need with unconditional generosity. And he will be missed greatly.

Prayers for the dearly departed gentleman. May he eternally hunt in the untamed wilds of Africa with his beloved 4 gauge Ken Owens sidelock ejector and .600 Overkill CZ-550 custom piece. May God/Allah grant him Heaven/Jannat.

Is this true, he only posted the other day ?

Sad to hear this if so, he was a hard case bloke !

Heard the rumor and was hoping it was a mistake.

Between Cal and Tom a lot of big bore double history slips away.

Thoughts and prayers for family and friends. RIP

WOW! He JUST posted a couple of scopes for sale. I bought a scope and some rings from him a couple of years ago. VERY sad to hear. My sincere condolences to his family and friends. RIP @SAFARIKIDD!

He and I PM’d a bit. I am stunned and saddened.

WOW! That is sad news.....Rest In Peace

Like many here, I bought and sold a couple things with Tom, talked to him on the phone. I told him of my dreams of African Safari.

He lived close by in the New Orleans area and invited me to join he and his motorcycle friends for breakfast at the local cafe and talk Africa. They would ride up here to Ponchatoula. I never took the time. A lesson for me.

Tom was a good man, God Rest His Soul, and prayers for his family and friends.

Just re-watched this video.

Watching the two Tanzanian's struggle to carry Tom's rifles from the gari to his room was almost as fun as watching everyone's reaction to the 4 bore and ammo.

Hello! I saw your post from last year about a missing crate from your hunt in Moz. I am curious how that all turned out? We (my fiancé and I) also hunted in Moz in 2024 and the trophies are being shipped with Hunters Services Limitada. We have some concerns on whether we will get the trophies home or not. May I ask who you hunted with?
