Hi guys
just joined from the deep south of New Zealand , Stewart Island . White tail country .
Wanting to hunt Africa so joined up to get some info from all who have been there .

pretty wet , late spring hunting been slow , beers still cold though .

Lat 47 ,getting pretty far south . when it blows from the south in winter it comes straight from antarctic.
Bloody cold but it keeps the tourists away .

you are a long ways down ,bet you get some wild weather
and some, cool sub Antarctic sea life..

yea we sure do , Im a commercial fisherman for 30 yrs so see a lot .

im steaming out now . im just about to cross the 40th parrell and still 3 to the south to go .
we fish out of lakes entrance , but are steaming down below tasman island to fish for the next 2 weeks .on the south east coast of Tasmania .
where abouts in Africa do wish to hunt ?
riffle or bow ?
and of course target species ?

I would say keep it shiny side up but then they may fill with water??? LOL

Fishing seems like such a stress free life, I mean you catch fish, eat fish, sell fish, smell fish, what more is there to it?
