WWII letters home

Reading @Altitude sickness post regarding the return of Cpl.George Sepoy home after 84 years, and especially his last letter to his mother, reminded me of my father's letters home to my grandmother from Normandy through the Bulge and the end of the war. The Historical Society of Northampton County Pennsylvania, where he practiced law for more than 50 years after coming home, published some of his letters and those of a law colleague, Berne O"Hare. O'Hare was with Kurt Vonnegut during the bombing of Dresden.
