Winchester Mod 70 In 470 capstick For Sale

Long story short I have looked for one of these forever and finally got one but turn of events a buddy just had to have a double of mine so gonna sell this and take that $$ and upgrade my double game.

Specifications:
- Make: Winchester
- Model: Model 70 "Custom" Super Grade "Express"
- Caliber: .470 Capstick
- Barrel Length: 22"
- Features: Hooded ramp beaded blade front sight, three-leaf express rear barrel sight, receiver drilled and tapped for scope mounting.
- Additional Features: Jeweled bolt and follower, straight comb pistol grip stock, rear sling swivel stud, front stud on barrel, cheekpiece, solid Pachmayr recoil pad.
- Condition: Light freckling on the barrel, a couple of safe dents. No pitting just bluing wore off from freckling.

This rifle comes with 11 boxes of loaded A square ammo 6 boxes of softs and 5 boxes of solids. RCBS Dies and load data.

Scope not included but can be for extra.

Everything with rifle shipped to FFL and ammo to your house will be all in. $5500

'Feel as if I'm seeing double. Unbelievable that I picked up the very same just a week ago (also advertised on here!) Please let me know if for whatever reason the gun isn't moving, I'd buy some of the ammo and the dies. That is a GOOD deal because retail, I believe you're looking at $3,300.00 worth of ammo alone here!!! It's as if the gun is $2,000.00 considering the dies value. Someone could buy it and get 1/2 back by selling some of the ammo.! (I'm good-My safe talks to me. It says there's no room for another 470 C!) Nice. Good luck! 'Now recalling that I had an old Kimber gunsmith re-blue two old guns years back ($300). Cheap and good as new now.

I only paid 100 for the box of ammo. The rifle is worth around 5k in my openion. Still a very good deal. @NTO is a great guy to deal with.

(I just checked mine and noticed yours has a low-profile soldered-on under barrel sling mount (whereas mine is a clamp-on ring), your bolt is more finely jeweled/polished, yours features the 3 folding ramp rear sight (mine only has 1) and mine additionally has the fancy Big 5 Africa/Rhino/Safari Classic bottom metal work. It was up to the the Orderer's personal taste through the Win Custom Shop, so there are some neat upgrades on yours!

I only paid 100 for the box of ammo. The rifle is worth around 5k in my openion. Still a very good deal. @NTO is a great guy to deal with.

Seller of mine advised that custom loaded ammo (his from Superior) was $300/box nowadays and of course you can no longer get new A-Square factory stuff.

Probably so. I got few original boxes for collection. Then one of the members here on AH got me properly head stamped brass. Then found some on GB, Then found some more. Ended up with over 1000 pieces. Then found some 1.5k pieces of Barnes Tsx 500gr bullets along with 500 Banded flat nose solids and 1k pieces of SWIFT AFRAME BULLETS.
I AM ALL SET.

Started thinking ing I will get a 470 NE. Then changed my ming as I am not in to doubles. So ended up with bunch of 470NE brass and bullets. Then found A-Squre Hannibal New old stock in 470 capstick. Here I go.

Thanks everyone for the comments yes there is a lot of ammo here that’s worth as much as the gun.
This is a custom shop gun so there is some changes from the Big 5 rifles when all 125 of them where the same.
